UNDERSTANDING SALVATION

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him should not  perish but have

everlasting life.

John 3:16

For all have fallen short of the glory of God.

Romans 3:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus

our lord.

Romans 6:23

For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised in the third day in accordance with the scriptures.

1 Corin. 15:3-4

For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Romans 10:13

GOD LOVES YOU

ALL ARE SINNERS

GOD'S REMEDY FOR SIN

GOD'S REMEDY FOR SIN

ALL MAY BE

SAVED NOW

God has made his Son Jesus Christ known to this world so that we can have a personal relationship with Him. The Lord has provided a way for you to inherit eternal security and the blessed assurance that "if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him form the dead, you will be saved." -Romans 10:9

We invite you pray for forgiveness of anything you have done wrong and ask Jesus to be Lord of your life. You can pray a prayer similar to this:

Father in heaven, thank you for sending your Son Jesus to this world so that I may know him and have a personal relationship with him. Jesus, I ask for forgiveness of my sins. I believe you paid the penalty for what I have done wrong by laying your life down on the cross of Calvary for me. Jesus, I thank you for forgiving me. I believe in your death and then resurrection on the third day. I know I am redeemed by your perfect sacrifice. I am yours from this day forward and I want you to be Lord over my life. I love you, Jesus, and I thank you for saving me. Amen.

God is the only one who can forgive us of our sinful nature. Thankfully, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness, when we confess to him our wrongdoing

(see 1st John 1:8-10).
